Michigan International Hypnosis Conference 2026: A Weekend of Connection, Inspiration, and New Ideas
An unforgettable weekend of learning, laughter, friendship, and the shared passion for hypnosis.
What an amazing weekend!
The 2026 Michigan International Hypnosis Conference was another memorable gathering of hypnosis professionals, presenters, educators, and friends. From the moment attendees arrived, there was a sense that this was more than simply another conference—it was an opportunity to connect with colleagues, share ideas, learn new approaches, and enjoy the company of people who share a passion for hypnosis.
For many attendees, this was their second—or even another annual—experience at the conference, and the response was enthusiastic.
“It was awesome! My second time at such a budget-friendly and person-friendly conference! It was great meeting you all there. I had a fantastic time.”
That combination of affordability and a welcoming atmosphere was one of the things attendees appreciated most.

A Conference Built Around People
One of the strongest themes of MIHC 2026 was connection.
The photographs from the weekend capture something that can sometimes be difficult to put into words: people genuinely enjoying being together.
There was plenty of time for conversations, laughter, networking, and simply “hanging out” with colleagues. For many people in the hypnosis community, conferences provide an opportunity to reconnect with people they may only see once or twice a year while also meeting new friends.
“It was such a pleasure hanging with all my wonderful colleagues at this conference. I feel grateful, inspired, and full of new ideas.”
That feeling of community was clearly an important part of the 2026 experience.

Learning, Presenting, and Sharing New Ideas
Of course, a hypnosis conference is ultimately about learning, and MIHC 2026 offered attendees plenty of opportunities to do exactly that.
Presenters brought their knowledge, experiences, techniques, and ideas to the conference, creating an environment where attendees could explore different perspectives and take new information back into their own practices.
One presenter described the conference as:
“So smooth flowing, entertaining, and the activities were so good. Had a great time!”
For presenters, the experience was equally rewarding.
One speaker who presented on the final day at 1 p.m. wondered whether attendance might be smaller because some participants would already have headed home. Instead, the seminar was filled with attendees.
The presentation focused on HypnoBirthing, while also emphasizing that the concepts involved can extend well beyond childbirth.
The presenter explained that HypnoBirthing can offer useful information for family members, friends, and others interested in understanding how hypnosis and related techniques can support confidence, optimism, and positive expectations.
The goal was for everyone attending to leave feeling confident, optimistic, and excited about their upcoming ventures.
And judging by the experience, the presenter certainly enjoyed the opportunity:
“I had a blast!!! Great conference!”
Celebrating Innovation in Hypnosis
Another special moment at MIHC 2026 was the presentation of the Jim Kellner Innovations in Hypnosis Award.
Receiving an award like this adds another meaningful dimension to a conference. It recognizes the importance of creativity, new ideas, and continued development within the field of hypnosis.
For the recipient, it was a proud moment and another reminder of why conferences like MIHC matter: they provide a place for people to share what they are developing and to celebrate the contributions of others.
More Than Seminars
The 2026 conference experience wasn’t limited to sessions and presentations.
Attendees also highlighted the food, activities, hospitality, and overall organization as important parts of the weekend.
“The food was so delicious!”
And behind any successful conference is a team of people working to make everything happen.
Several attendees specifically recognized Dan, Heather, and the volunteers, expressing appreciation for everything they did to make the event run smoothly.
That behind-the-scenes effort can make a tremendous difference in the experience of everyone attending. Taking the Experience Home
Perhaps the best measure of a conference isn’t what happens during the final session—it’s what attendees do with what they learned afterward.
One of the clearest messages from MIHC 2026 was the desire to take the new ideas, tools, and knowledge from the weekend and put them into practice.
That’s ultimately what makes a professional gathering valuable.
You attend. You learn. You meet people. You exchange ideas.
And then you go home and put those ideas to work.
Looking Ahead to 2027
As the 2026 Michigan International Hypnosis Conference came to a close, the conversation was already looking toward next year.
“2026 was fantastic!”
“Looking forward to 2027.”
The photographs from the conference tell part of the story: smiling faces, colleagues gathered together, and people enjoying the opportunity to be part of the hypnosis community.
But perhaps the most important takeaway is the feeling expressed repeatedly by attendees—gratitude, inspiration, new ideas, and a desire to return.
MIHC 2026 was a weekend filled with learning, laughter, friendship, great food, presentations, recognition, and plenty of opportunities to connect.
And now it’s time to take those new ideas and tools and put them to work.
Thank you to everyone who attended, presented, volunteered, and helped make the 2026 Michigan International Hypnosis Conference such a memorable experience.
See you in Michigan in 2027!
