Relational Trauma Under Pressure: Supporting Clients in High-Conflict and Coercive Contexts

The session would explore how prolonged exposure to high-conflict relationships, coercive control and psychological violence shapes trauma responses, identity, nervous system regulation and decision-making. Drawing on trauma-informed practice, mediation psychology and clinical experience, the presentation focuses on recognising relational trauma patterns, supporting stabilisation and mental clarity, and navigating complex relational dynamics in therapeutic and professional contexts.
I am happy to contribute in the format most suitable for the programme, including a keynote-style presentation, workshop or panel discussion.
