Garry is renowned around the world as one of the top specialists in the area of Hypno-Oncology, with over two decades of experience as a hypnotherapist and holding an MSc in Clinical Hypnotherapy.
Garry has worked within an NHS hospital oncology unit, and a GP surgery.
In 2024, The Mid America Hypnotherapy Conference in Chicago presented Garry with the ‘Medical Hypnotherapist of the Year’ award.
Garry sits on the Profession Specific Board (for Hypnotherapy) for the CNHC, advising on ethics, training, and malpractice issues.
Garry is a regular global lecturer and presenter, including presenting monthly mentoring Zoom sessions.

With more and more people now turning away from ‘big pharma’ and looking at more holistic approaches to the treatment of illnesses and issues, PNI may have a large future part to play.
Can we really alter the immune system using the power of the mind? If we could, what profound implications could this have for area such as cancer, HIV and auto immune diseases? (amongst many other areas).
This presentation will be an introduction to the exciting scientific research area of psychoneuroimmunology (PNI) and its potential implications for hypnotherapists going forward.
An explanation into what PNI is, with a short history of the topic.
We will look at the mechanisms behind PNI and how this can be linked to hypnosis.
We will examine the latest research indicating the success of PNI with hypnosis and discover how to utilise it effectively in our hypnotherapy practices.
There will be suggestions on techniques and approaches to integrate PNI within your hypnotherapy practice.
