Alan Sands began performing before he was born. Raised backstage, he grew up watching his father present Magic, mentalism, card-cheating exposés, and Hypnosis shows. During his teen years, Alan worked lights and sound in resort nightclubs, gaining a practical, behind-the-scenes education in live entertainment.

He put himself through college, earning what he jokingly calls a degree in “buttons, knobs, and switches,” while honing his skills as a street performer in San Francisco. Alan has performed in eight countries and 46 U.S. states, with credits ranging from Juilliard to Stanford, and corporate clients including Apple to Xerox. Every job Alan has ever held has been in the entertainment industry—his entire life dedicated to performing, producing, and understanding audiences.
